AIA East Tennessee’s Emerging Professionals Committee is a voice and resource for architecture students, recent graduates, and newly licensed architects. This committee is responsible for creating ARE prep course classes, AXP opportunities, professional development resources,  and community-building events for our regional Emerging Professionals.

Who are Emerging Professionals?

Emerging Professionals (EP) are professionals who have completed their academic studies up to the point of licensure or up to 10 years after completion of their academic studies.

Whether you’re seeking information on licensing or testing, job prospects, leadership opportunities, or entrepreneurial issues, our EP Committee is the place to start! 

Together, we ensure the success of architecture’s next generation. We provide a forum to address firm culture, student debt, and other topics.

This committee meets every second Tuesday of the month and holds monthly EP Happy Hours/Events.
